Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA)
Security Network of America is an active member in the Central Station Alarm Association. Founded in 1950, the Central Station Alarm Association is a trade association that represents companies offering security monitoring systems through a central station. It also represents companies that provide services and products to the industry.
CSAA member companies operate central station alarm monitoring systems that have been listed by Underwriters Laboratories and/or approved by Factory Mutual. Such certification assures customers their insurance companies and their local emergency service agencies that CSAA members provide the highest quality and most reliable burglar and fire alarm service available to residential and commercial clients.
Alarm Industry Communications Committee (AICC)
Security Network of America is a participating member of the Alarm Industry Communications Committee. AICC is a committee comprised of representatives of the Central Station Alarm Association, National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association, the Security Industry Association and major alarm companies and manufacturers.
It provides coordination in a variety of areas between the alarm industry and the FCC, other regulatory agencies, and members of Congress, when needed. The committee monitors developments at the federal level affecting the ability of the alarm industry to utilize telecommunications technology in providing protection services to the public.

Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC)
Security Network of America is an ongoing contributor to the Security Industry Alarm Coalition. The mission of SIAC is to create a structure for all interested parties to come together under the banner of “dispatch reduction” and “alarm management” and through a coordinated effort maximize the impact on “false dispatch reduction” and “alarm management” across North America by maintaining a liaison with national and state (or provincial) law enforcement leadership, while educating and empowering local alarm communities to proactively foster relationships with law enforcement before a crisis develops.
SIAC’s Board of Directors has two members from each of the major North American trade associations: CANASA - Canadian Security Association, CSAA - Central Station Alarm Association, NBFAA - National Burglar & fire Alarm Association, SIA - Security Industry Alarm Association.
